The Next FIFA Presidency Election. Whose Side Are We

Well, it is fair to say that FIFA really need a new leader after the revelation of tax fraud, racketeering and money laundering in order to put 'football' back to its place, to the right track.

Not long after Sepp Blater announce his resignation from world biggest football body, FIFA there are already a line of candidates whose going to take his post in the 65th  FIFA Congress that will be held at Hallenstadion in Zurich this 29 May.

In this post, we will discuss who are they and asked whether they have what it takes to be the football leaders for the next five years.

These are the top two candidates according to Mirror.com and here they are

1. In number 1 spot, the current UEFA President ad former French national, Michael Platini.

Platini is best known during his playing days as one of Juventus and French great who lifted the famous 1984 UEFA Football Championship and had won three Ballon D Or in three consecutive year in 1984,85 and 86.

From management's aspect, this guy has run UEFA since 2007 and there is no doubt that he will do just fine as the next FIFA President if based on his records at European stage.

2. Luis Figo

Figo, former Real Madrid , Barcelona and Inter Milan player back in his time is the second most popular candidate to compete for presidency post in the next FIFA Congress.

In my opinion, as a player he might be as great as Platini, but in management field, he is second to nothing if compared to Platini. Organising FIFA is absolutely no kids job and i am not pretty sure it is for Figo. Maybe in the next ten years, he would. But for now, Platini is the change that football needs.
